I'm a veteran so using the commissary is one of my benefits that I enjoy at Ft Campbell and the prices are great.
I do love that they offer food from so many different areas of the world, I can find my east coast things as well as German and polish items. For the most part good selection and prices but don't go after payday if you can help it
Produce needs to be fresher. It sucks when you by some on a Monday and have to throw it away on Thursday because it goes bad, and starts to rot.
US Army Commissary. Grocery store to non military affiliated personal. Rather nice one. But it's been many many years since I went to other bases, so I can't compare as they have all upgraded.
The Best Food Store Ever! As a civillian going onto base to shop for food is. A privilege I am ever Grateful for. Grade A all the way. Every item on every shelf are of the highest quality. As our dedicated Armed Forces Men, Women, and their families deserve. Also, the prices are incompatible.
Don't be rude like some people in there also. Will make shopping we and with less stress.
Pick a time other then lunch hour, (On post it is 10:30 to 1:00), and other then right after work let's out. (Some units get out at 2:30ish)
